Cole Blocker
Cole Blocker is a Vice President at DuWest, specializing in project leasing, development and tenant representation.
On project leasing, Cole works with national and local landlords on ground up projects, pads, strip centers and lifestyle centers such as Watters Creek Village, a 458,000-square-foot mixed-use lifestyle center, where he has transacted with top brands such as Lululemon, The Shade Store, Paper Source, and Barnes & Noble. On the tenant representation side Cole enjoys working with a variety of clients including critically acclaimed local chefs.
In addition to leasing, Cole is involved the development of single and multi-tenant net lease deals including that of national restaurant and retail groups and most recently a 23,000 square foot ground up development in Rockwall. He helps manage all aspects of development from site selection acquisition, pro-forma underwriting, entitlements, leasing, lending, construction management, and disposition.
Before joining DuWest, Cole spent six years in Presidential politics, including time at The White House, where he played a key role in major donor fundraising and high-profile event execution and domestic and international advance for the President, First Lady and other top government officials.
Cole is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he earned a B.S. in Management Science. He lives in Dallas, TX, with his wife, son, daughter and their goldendoodle. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, flying airplanes, playing golf and tennis, and spending time on the Georgia coast with family and friends.
